Don’t be flat-footed when storms strike

When you think of tornadoes, what’s the first thing that pops into your mind?
 
Is it devastation in the Plains states? Georgia’s recent cyclone activity in downtown Atlanta? A popular movie?

Now where does your family having an emergency plan rate on that list?

It’s more than likely not in the top 5 of most local resident’s list considering this area hasn’t really experienced any tornadoes the likes of those depicted in the 1996 blockbuster “Twister.”
